lying on the ground belly up. i know for a fact that i am the only person that has watched all of larry zeepsterd’s sdmp streams but i literally cannot stop thinking about him.

c!larry’s such a fascinating character because at the very core of his little cube being he’s completely dependent upon others.

jawsh is the only reason why he was invited to the world.

he only has a house and his starting resources because he and vinnysuperg (jawsh’s editor) joined at the same time.

his only mid to late game items are gifts, primarily from berd, or inadvertently stolen (e.g. vinny’s neptunium fishing rod, “pookie”).

he had to team up with riza to confront john freedom about blowing up the linny hut, which is still not repaired bc he has not had the time or resources to do so on his own.

he almost exclusively explores the rest of the server when he tags along with other people.

his life is entirely at the whim of more powerful members, which is most of them. and this is often taken advantage of, literally to the point where he’s killed so often he rarely keeps even the bare minimum on him because respawning and having to collect all his items is so taxing. (this also slightly extends to vinny but that’s mostly because berd enjoys hunting him for sport.)

and here’s the real kicker. interpret this into a lore compliant way however you want, but he has been almost completely dependent on his chat and occasionally other players to do several “basic” tasks. he needed/actively needs assistance/instruction with mining, crafting, using a furnace, managing his hunger/health bars, putting on armor, using most tools, pulling up coordinates, and other things i’m probably missing. now with a lot of these things he could probably figure out and manage on his own, given time, but he is constantly asking for help, because fundamentally he doesn���t know how most of the world works.

the handling of sdmp has kind of been driving me crazy, the server owner doesn't do jack shit and no one else bothers to talk to anyone else so what started as a very strong server for the first two months has now just completely stalled

honestly i feel the worst for the last batch of additions (milo/larry/vinny/proct/travis/johnfreedom) bc outside of each other and the small group of regulars they had basically no one to interact with from the start

larry zeepsterd from the sdmp is my new favorite mcyt purely based on the fact that he has near zero knowledge about minecraft. he got diamonds and immediately made a shovel and chestplate instead of a pickaxe. he tried to craft a pickaxe sideways. he didn’t know about item despawn. he thought the hoa approved sign was jacksepticeye. i love him so much. please watch his streams. hes so wonderful.

SURIGAO CITY--A village in the mining town of Claver, Surigao del Norte, received four "high-impact" infrastructure projects worth PHP13 million from a nickel smelting plant early last week. In a statement Tuesday, Taganito HPAL Nickel Corporation (THPAL) said Barangay Urbiztondo received a health center and birthing facility, a building for Alternative Learning System, a Tanod (village watchers) outpost, and a pavement concreting project.

THPAL said the projects, sourced from the company's Social Development Management Program (SDMP) funds, were received by barangay officials on January 26. Urbiztondo Barangay Captain Larry G. Escutin said the company's SDMP and corporate social responsibility funds have enabled the village to transform into a developed barangay, with all the amenities that benefit the locals. “Aside from the infrastructure projects, THPAL also provided us high-impact projects to improve health and education. More importantly, the company has assisted in various ways for us to cope with the adverse effects of the (coronavirus disease) pandemic," Escutin said in the dialect. Meanwhile, ALS teacher Vilma Abad said the school facility would provide students a "safe and conducive" place for adults and out-of-school youths. "Now that we have our own building, we don't have to scratch our heads where to hold our next classes. This is really a big help for our students in the community," Abad said. Through its annual SDMP funds, THPAL has been providing its four host and 10 neighboring communities with basic health care services, scholarship programs, livelihood projects, wellness programs for senior citizens and persons with disabilities, and other development initiatives. THPAL, a hydrometallurgical processing plant operating inside the Taganito Special Economic Zone in the town of Claver, converts low-grade nickel laterite ore to produce nickel and cobalt mixed sulfide, the end products of which are exported to Japan for further processing. The final products are used as inputs to produce medical tools and equipment, electronic batteries, and other industrial materials. THPAL started operations in 2013 with an investment value of USD1.6 billion. (PR)

watching new people on the sdmp is so fun ive been bouncing between one of my favorite video essayists (vinnysuperg123) and a man who has streamed exactly twice and played minecraft so little i and the rest of chat have to coach him on the basics (zeepsterd) i love them both dearly please watch vinny and larry they’re so funny

Unfortunately he didn’t save the VOD (most likely he didn’t know how to as it was his first stream) and he doesn’t have a VOD channel yet but you can catch bits of him on Vinny’s VODs from that day and if you stay past where Larry goes offline I talk with Vinny and chat about what happened I’ll link the streams below, there’s a few because he kept restarting the stream
